PERSONAL

Phil was raised in Far North Dallas (Renner) and attended Plano Independent School District for grades 1 to 12. He was in the first graduating class at Plano Senior High School.
​
His wife, Debbie, is from suburban Oklahoma City. They were married in 1980 and have two children. Their son is a PhD Candidate at Indiana University and their daughter is an RN in Plano, Texas.
​
Phil’s hobbies are travel, cars, politics, economics, current events, theology, and being a fan of auto racing and the Dallas Mavericks. He has been to 49 states at least three times, all 50 state capitols, and 14 foreign countries.
